Everything was good until the recent stay. We had been coming here as a fun rest stopover before continuing to our destinations. The hotel is nice, clean & rooms are comfortable, clean & nice river views we had each time my husband & I stayed. I'll start my review with the hotel itself. Many more people would have been playing had there been one or two more $10 tables open. The one they had was full and the other tables with higher limits were not. My only suggestion would be to add at least one more $10 craps table. Of all the attendees at my business meeting who went over to the casino, not one of them expressed disappointment with the time they had there.
It was an easy walk to the casino from there. Many people in my group were staying at the Courtyard Mohawk Harbor (see separate review). I chose blackjack and had a great time with a few friends and a fantastic dealer. There were lots of table game opportunities ranging from blackjack to craps Many slots machines spread around as well. But as an addition to the capital region I found it just right. If people are comparing it to Las Vegas casino, then yes Rivers is on the small side. I actually found it to be very reasonable size. From what I had been told by people who had been to Rivers Casino already I was expecting it to be small.
I recently went with some colleagues to Rivers Casino to check it out and try not to lose too much money.
